A Red-tailed Hawk in My Tree

I was fortunate to look up to see this hawk eating it’s prey…

    Great shots! I have the hardest time getting that close in the wild (with a 300mm lens). The hawks around here are very skittish. Great images.

    I have seen a red tailed hawk swoop at our roof where there was a squireel’s nesst she grabbed the poor thing and landed on a nearby trree where her whole nest was.
